Digital X-ray System Receives

Top Award from KLAS

In 2013 the DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray System earned the top rating from MD Buyline. Medical Equipment & Infrastructure report cites the CARESTREAM DRX-Evolution as receiving the highest overall score against seven competitors in the digital X-ray category, with 100% of users stating they would buy Carestream’s system again. The report is compiled from the feedback of thousands of healthcare providers at physician offices, clinics, hospitals and IDNs throughout the United States and Canada.

Quantum integrates this same Carestream “digital technology” into its highly rated Q-Rad-Digital DRX Series Systems. Having healthcare providers expressing this kind of approval while saying they would buy Carestream products again says a lot about the quality. This creates enhanced value to the already highly rated Q-Rad-Digital Systems. Introduce and educate your customers about this great product line to increase your sales.

FDA Clearance Received for New Technology “DRX 2530C DETECTOR”

Quantum Medical Imaging is pleased to announce dealers, including CMX, are authorized to quote the DRX 2530C Detector-CMXCarestream DRX 2530C Detector.

This new 25 x 30 cm Cesium detector can now be quoted with NEW DRX Revolution Systems, DRX Mobile Retrofit Kit Systems, DRX Wireless Bundles, and Q-RAD DRX Systems.  It is also available as an upgrade to your installed base of the equipment noted above.

This new detector requires Carestream DRX Software Version 5.6B. With the availability of this new detector, new DRX Systems shipped from the factory with a DRX 2530C will be loaded with V5.6B Software.  If purchasing a DRX 2530C detector to be sold as an upgrades to an installed DRX Systems, you will need to purchase the V5.6B Software Upgrade appropriate for your customer’s DRX System.  The V5.6B software upgrade can then be installed at the time the DRX 2530C detector is installed.

The primary application for the DRX 2530C will be portable/mobile x-ray imaging in PICU / NICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Units / Neo Natal Intensive Care Units).  The dimensions are designed to fit into the “trays” in the typical PICU / NICU beds / bassinets found in PICU / NICU patient care areas.  The DRX 2530C is also designed to be used for extremity imaging in both mobile and in-room applications, ideal when a small detector is needed in the ED when extremity, Cervical Spine or skull imaging can be difficult in tight spaces. Software V5.6B enables mixed detector use on the same console, so, if your customers are currently using GoS detectors, they can add the DRX 2530C detector with V5.6B software for PICU / NICU or Emergency Department imaging.

“This new detector IS expected but not guaranteed To begin shipping from the factory August 1, 2013”
